iphone ringtones, created, but cant use?

i’ve read and tried most suggested website to create ringtones for my iphone.
and i drag my created m4r file into the Ringtones folder under iphone section in itunes,
but no matter how many times i click on tansfer purchase or synch, it just never appear in my iphone, any idea what setting or tings i’ve missed out?
